ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY POLICY

The preservation of the environment is a priority to all the members of Minera Santa Rita S.R.L. The company carries an environment management system that allows us to comply with current regulations in Argentina. This system mainly includes conducting periodical audits and communicating its positive results to the community. However, MSR’s commitment to the community and the environment goes beyond complying to current legal regulations.
This is why we generate preventive measures to mitigate possible environmental impacts and continuously improve our productive processes to this end
At the MSR Group, we affirm our commitment to the care of the environment, the health and personal safety of our workers, and the compliance with current regulations, and others to which it adheres, in the design and execution of our processes, products, services and projects. In our commitment to perform sustainable practices and to responsibly work within the environmental regulations, we take the following actions:

EVALUATE

our activities periodically to prevent and minimize adverse impacts on the environment and staff health.

RATIONALIZE

the use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources.

EVALUATE

environmental impacts and risks in our new environmental projects.

CONSIDER

the environment, occupational health and safety as a primary responsibility in the whole line of command. Involve all staff, customers, suppliers, contractors and the community in general, to increase their commitment to this policy through awareness and training at all levels involved.

PROVIDE

adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy, as well as rationally manage them, considering recycling, recovering or re-using them when this is economically feasible.

PERIODICALLY

establish, communicate and review objectives and goals regarding the environmental policy, occupational health and safety, within the framework of a continuous improvement process.

This policy is aimed at maintaining interactive communications with our staff, the community, the authorities, the customers, suppliers and contractors with the purpose of encouraging the participation and collaboration of all parties involved.
